Mary was always so kind to me. Becoming a Mom at 23 and just out of university was scary for me but she was always so reassuring and quick to share memories of being a strong independent woman raising her twins! She gave me the confidence and guidance I really needed at that time. I loved her passion for quilting and have the runner she made us for our wedding on our bed and the quilt she made for our daughter, Lily. I am so pleased that she got to spend time with her family once she retired. I am sorry for your loss, but what a wonderful and inspiring woman she was who made a big impact on me when I was growing and trying to figure out life, for that I will always be grateful to you Mary xx
